Origin:
Bred by Ernest D. Williams (United States, 1991).
Introduced in United States by Mini Roses of Texas in 1992 as 'Space Walk'.
Class:
Miniature.  
Bloom:
Mauve or purple blend.  Strong fragrance.  26 to 40 petals.  Average diameter 1.5".  Small, full (26-40 petals), high-centered bloom form.  Blooms in flushes throughout the season.  
Habit:

Height: 12" to 28" (30 to 70cm).  
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Disease susceptibility: very disease resistant.  
Patents:
Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).
Notes:
On 3 June 1965, astronaut Edward White became the first American to walk in space during the flight of Gemini 4.


Jerry Justice says the color of this rose can be described as a soft tan.
