Shrub.  

Petal surface color tends towards maroon rather than dark red..  None to mild fragrance.  15 to 25 petals.  Average diameter 2".  Small, double (17-25 petals), in large clusters, high-centered to cupped bloom form.  Prolific, blooms in flushes throughout the season.  Small, pointed buds.  

Tall, bushy, compact, upright.  Small, semi-glossy, medium green foliage.  3 to 7 leaflets.  

Height: 3' to 6' (90 to 185cm).  Width: 2' to 5' (60 to 150cm).

USDA zone 5a and warmer.  Can be used for beds and borders, container rose, shrub or specimen.  Very vigorous.  flowers drop off cleanly.  heat tolerant.  requires full sun for best color.  Disease susceptibility: very mildew resistant, very rust resistant.  

This variety has shown exceptional vigor and is being tested for its merit as a garden shrub. Of note is its complete lack of thorns. Even the mid-rib on the undersides of the leaves have no prickles. As it is still a young plant in a container, I can only speculate on its mature size, so listed size is only a speculation.
