Bristly , well-branched. Medium, semi-glossy, dark green foliage. 4 to 7 leaflets.
USDA zone 6b and warmer. Hardy. very vigorous. flowers drop off cleanly.
This is a new seedling and its growth habit and mature size will not be fully known for at least another season or two. This is my first seedling using AgCan's L83 which is a R. kordesii hybrid used to impart superior winter hardiness and improved disease resistance. I expect to use this for a next step in breeding. It has much richer coloring than expected from this cross, as L83 has a strong propensity to breed pinks.
Almost certainly a tetraploid, based on parentage, but unverified.
