Bred by Ralph S. Moore (United States, 1995).
Class:
Hybrid Rugosa, Moss.  
Habit:
Medium, armed with thorns / prickles, bristly .  Large, semi-glossy, light green, wrinkled (rugose) foliage.  
Breeder's notes:
Jerry Rugosa was a Rugosa selection Dr. Jerimais of the ARS gave to Ralph Moore, which he used for breeding. 44 Stripe was a striped mini-floribunda he also retained for breeding. This rose is a Rugosa-moss. It is too early to describe fragrance, bloom, repeat, size, etc. More information will be added as it becomes available.
