Origin:
Bred by Jean-Pierre Vibert (France, 1846).
Class:
Damask Perpetual, Portland.  
Bloom:
Cream, ages to white .  Centre crown.  Strong fragrance.  Average diameter 2.25".  Medium, full (26-40 petals), cupped-to-flat bloom form.  Spring or summer flush with scattered later bloom.  
Habit:

Height: 3' to 47" (90 to 120cm).  Width: up to 3' (up to 90cm).
Growing:
USDA zone 6b through 9b (default).  Blooms tend to ball in wet weather.

Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).
Notes:
In his 2001/2002 catalog, Peter Beales says this rose is "temperamental..."
Nickels says 'Blanche Vibert' is a synoym of 'Bifera alba'.
