'Blossomtime'. O'Neal, 1951. 'New Dawn' is one parent, the other being an unnamed Hybrid Tea. It has derived good from both parents, being a lax shrub or low climber with good foliage and bearing Hybrid Tea-style flowers of clear pink, deeper on the reverse, in clusters. The first crop is followed by numerous later flowers.

Blossomtime (O'Neal, 1951): Large pointed buds opening to a double high centred, very fragrant cameo pink.
More of a pillar rose than a climber as it attains a height of only six to eight feet. Very free blooming.

Blossomtime: To the above Hybrid Teas, for good measure, a climber, and what a beauty! It is easy to envisage this type of climber becoming very popular, as the pliant canes arch naturally and will accommodate themselves quite happily on waist-high fences or low trellis. In addition the blooms are produced early, late and in-between, delightfully scented two-toned pink buds of medium size which develop slowly into shapely double blooms, carried in sprays.  The colouring is somewhat reminiscent of Mrs, Henry Morse. Apart from garden value, Blossomtime will delight those interested in flower arrangements or made-up work.
