Discovered by Dr. John Livingstone (United Kingdom, 1808).
Introduced in United Kingdom by Reginard Whitley in 1808 as 'Paeonia albiflora Whitleji'.
Introduced in United Kingdom by Kelways Nursery in before 1856 as 'Queen Victoria'.
Class:
Hybrid lactiflora.  
Bloom:
White, light pink highlights, light yellow center, carmine-red flecks..  Outer petals shaded pink, inner petals sulphur-yellow.  Mild fragrance.  Large, double, bomb bloom form.  Early.  
Habit:
Medium.  

Height: up to 3' (up to 90cm).
