Origin:
Bred by Stephen Hoy (United States, before 2017).
Class:
Hybrid Spinosissima.  
Bloom:
White, light purple blending, rosy highlights.  Strong fragrance.  5 to 7 petals.  Average diameter 1.5".  Small, single (4-8 petals), in small clusters, open bloom form.  Once-blooming spring or summer.  
Habit:
Short, armed with thorns / prickles, bristly , compact, dense, sends out runners, suckers on its own roots.  Small, glossy, dark green, attractive fall color foliage.  3 to 9 leaflets.  

Height: 2' to 30" (60 to 75cm).  Width: 30" to 3' (75 to 90cm).
Growing:
Can be used for beds and borders, garden, landscape, shrub or specimen.  Hardy.  vigorous.  flowers drop off cleanly.  produces decorative hips.  Disease susceptibility: very disease resistant, very blackspot resistant..  
Breeder's notes:
Named for my step-father's mother. She immigrated to the US from Scotland in the 1950's. Unfortunately, died of cancer in the 1970's.
