Red, purple shading, yellow undertones, lighter edges. Double (17-25 petals) bloom form. Once-blooming spring or summer. Large, glandular sepals, leafy sepals, ovoid buds.
Habit:
Armed with thorns / prickles, bristly . Dark green foliage. 5 to 7 leaflets.
