Bred by Mathias Leenders (1883 - 1958) (Netherlands, before 1946).
Introduced in United Kingdom by George Longley & Sons in 1946 as 'Kolibre'.
Introduced in Australia by Hazlewood Bros. Pty. Ltd. in 1951 as 'Kolibre'.
Class:
Floribunda.  
Bloom:
Red.  Rich salmon, fading to pink.  Strong fragrance.  up to 20 petals.  Average diameter 3".  Medium, double (17-25 petals), in small clusters bloom form.  Long, pointed buds.  
Habit:
Short.  Bronze-green foliage.  
Growing:
Can be used for beds and borders.
