Bred by Unknown (before 1820).
Class:
Hybrid Spinosissima.  
Bloom:
Deep yellow.  Blooms do not open well; not garden-worthy.  Double (17-25 petals), globular bloom form.  Once-blooming spring or summer.  
Habit:
Armed with thorns / prickles.  Small foliage.  
Growing:
Hardy.
