Bred by Unknown (before 1849).
Introduced in Australia by George Brunning - St. Kilda Nurseries in 1882 as 'Marquise d'Exeter'.
Class:
Gallica / Provins.  
Bloom:
Light pink.  Large, double (17-25 petals) bloom form.  Once-blooming spring or summer.

Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).

Notes:
The attribution to G. Paul is a mix-up due to the hybrid perpetual of the same name. George Paul was 8 years old in 1849.
