HMF Ratings:
2 favorite votes.
Average rating: EXCELLENT.
ARS:
Orange or orange-red.
Origin:
Bred by Christopher Gon (United States, 2022).
Class:
Hybrid Tea.
Bloom:
Orange-red.  Mild, tea fragrance.  25 to 35 petals.  Average diameter 5".  Large, full (26-40 petals), borne mostly solitary, high-centered to flat, rounded bloom form.  Continuous (perpetual) bloom throughout the season.  Large buds.
Habit:
Armed with thorns / prickles.  Matte, medium green foliage.
Breeder's notes:
Color bright orange or orange-red, notable white petal base more evident as blooms fully open. Colortropic, color deepens as blooms age, some rusty purple edging. Upper petal neon bright orange red, lower petal white; crisp substance, color does not fade. Thorny. Numerous thorns, somewhat soft, varying sizes, green to dark green. Named NIGHT FEVER for the bright orange “hot” color and because the color, the parentage, do make this a very 1970s disco fever esthetic variety. Open blooms show the pronounced white petal base just as Color Magic does. General effect is that of a bright orange Spellbinder. It was far and away the strongest of its litter and remains really vigorous.
Patents:
Patent status unknown (to HelpMeFind).
