This is a neat photo.
I have one very similar taken by my granddaughter this past spring. It is a picture of a mantis--not sure of the sex--eating an insect hanging upside down. It too was on the underside of a leaf on one of my rose bushes.

John, you can tell the females by their huge behinds! The males have a long thin behind.

Well, I think my bug is a male. He has a nice tight little behind, LOL......
