This image shows the "Dogwood Ridge" clone of Rosa carolina [far left] compared to 3 different clones believed to be Rosa virginiana. The leaves are upside down in this picture. This clone differs from the clones of R. virginiana by having narrower petals, non-glossy foliage and by producing blooms at the tips of new canes [as well as the ones born on last season's growth.
