Wills's Cigarette Card - No 31 in 1926 set of 50 cards.

Text on reverse of the card reads:

MME. ABEL CHATENAY.

Hybrid Tea

This variety is undoubtedly a most popular rose. The long pointed flowers, produced abundantly and continuously, call forth admiration from all, whether grown in standard, half standard, or bush form; strong perfume. It is hardy, vigorous, and should be pruned to within three "eyes". For bedding and decoration it is unequalled. Introduced in 1895.

The same image and text appears as No 21 in the 1912 series of 50 Rose cards.
