BRITISH QUEEN.
(Hybrid Tea.)
Similar to that well-known variety "Mrs. Herbert Stevens." The flowers are large, full, and perfectly formed with pointed centres. In habit of growth it is extremely free flowering, and as a white bedding rose it has few if any equals. May be pruned back to two "eyes" for exhibition, or from four to six "eyes" for decorative purposes. Introduced in 1921, and awarded the Gold Medal of the National Rose Society.
