What a beautiful picture! The composition is amazing.

Thanks very much. It's somewhat difficult to take photos of the garden that don't have open spaces that make it look sparsely planted (which it definitely isn't!). This one was taken from a low angle.

Dear Cliff,
What is the white rose on the foreground? It is stunning.

Marina,

I knew I should have checked before posting the photo! It was about the only thing in bloom (that looked half decent) in our desert summer heat. I'll find out and let you know!

Marina,

You'll be surprised to hear that it's Leading Lady. In our hot desert summer it's almost totally white. The blooms weren't really very attractive, but by taking the shot from close to the ground, I was able to use the three plants of Leading Lady to create a mass of white blooms in the foreground, with the grasses and other plants in the background.

Wow! Beautiful rose indeed. Thank you very much for your time.
I'll add this one to my wish list - too bad it is not available through Nor'East anymore.
