No 20. from the Wills’s Cigarettes 1912 Series of 50 Roses
ANNE OF GEIERSTEIN.
(Sweet Briar.)
One of the Hybrid Sweet Briar roses raised by Lord Penzance in 1894. Both foliage and flower are deliciously fragrant, and its crimson flowers are followed by an abundance of pretty clustered bunches of hips which make the plant an object of beauty long after it has passed the flowering period.
