Flowers are semi-double, produced freely and continuously, and are very showy on the plant. It has delicious perfume, is thornless, and makes a charming pillar rose which should be in every garden. Being vigorous in habit of growth, and absolutely hardy, scarcely any pruning is required, and it will thrive anywhere. Introduced in 1873.
