Text on reverse of card:
AMERICAN PILLAR.
(Hybrid Tea.)
A vigorous climbing rose, producing immense clusters of very large single flowers, which with their bright yellow anthers give a delightful effect. For arches or pillars it is excellent, and requires very little pruning. Being quite hardy, and not unduly subject to mildew, it is a valuable asset for an exposed position. Introduced in1908.
