DAME EDITH HELEN
(Hybrid Tea)
Introduced 1926
Pure glowing self-pink.
A variety with the true old rose scent. The blooms are very large and beautifully formed. The foliage is a light green, very leathery. The habit of growth varies—in some districts it makes a big bush, but in others its growth is only moderate. It requires hard pruning the last week in March, and if liberally fed will produce very fine exhibition blooms. It is free of disease. Awarded a Gold Medal of the National Rose Society.
