What a beautiful garden, Jay Jay! I'll bet you even budded the trees.

Thank You Kim, Part of the fruittrees are seedlings, part of them are budded with often more than one variety. This year early spring was cold until suddenly the temperatures rose to 25° C and up. All the fruittrees like plums, pears and apples bloomed together. Mostly there are several weeks between the full bloom of them. Despite the extreme weather later on, some roses grew to a monstruous size! Later in the year the bushes that surround the garden grow so tight, we seem to live in a green oasis (garden of eden) and one can't see the houses any more! In the background the bushes that bloom are Amelanchier Lamarckii. Very common in the woods and moors of Drenthe, but sometimes spectacular and with a nice growth-habit.
