Photo taken yesterday (mid summer) at the Mornington Botanical Rose Garden, just outside Melbourne, Australia. Very, very large blooms of a strong bright orange/red (wasn't as dark or red as it looks in this photo, though- this camera doesn't do red or orange very well.) As you would expect from a rose that comes from Fragrant Cloud and Oklahoma, it has a fantastic fragrance. One of the very best you'll come across, IMO. Grows to about 4 foot here, but not very prolific. You could argue that the individual blooms are worth the wait, though.
