Soon each pot will be surrounded with a combination of cut grass, ground leaves and bark mulch to cool the pots in summer and moderate temperature changes in winter as well as attracting worms. Each pot is top dressed with organic compost to fertilize the plant, prevent back splash innoculation, cool the soil and attract worms. Plants that are sold are replaced with soil filled pots that are planted into as the plants become available from the propagators.
