'American Pillar' from The Conard & Jones Co Roses Catalogue 1923:
"AMERICAN PILLAR. Begins blooming here early in June. Single flowers of rich, rosy pink approaching brilliant carmine, just a glint of white in the center, and long stamens of beautiful golden yellow. The blossoms - four to six layers deep - are arranged in large-flowered clusters all over the plant."
