This species tends to be everblooming when conditions are right. Even though a desert plant, for me, it seems to perform best in filtered BRIGHT light; growing underneath a bigger lightly foliated shrub, versus baking in full sun mulched with gravel. I lost my first clone many years ago due to extreme site location. It was getting reflected heat and light from an asphalt driveway and a white wall while under full sun. It slowly declined and fried to death.
