Mister Lincoln  rose photo courtesy of member Give me caffeine
Photo Id: 284519

July 2nd, 2016. Same bloom, and it has opened out to a full 130 mm (5"), which is bigger than I expected. The colours shown in the photo are completely accurate on my (well-calibrated) monitor. This shot really captures the rich velvet feel of the petals.

The centre of the bloom is a bit informal, which is not normal for this rose and may be due to the low overnight temperatures (3-7 C). The small white flecks coming through from old China genes may be a fault in some people's eyes, but I just call them "character".
