Bordesholm/Northern Germany, July 9th, 2017. It grows in half shade. The blooms are nodding (which is a good thing because they ball when exposed to rain) and lightened up by the sunlit grass below; hence the colour. Part of its charm lies in that the blooms are made up of lighter and darker petals. - I replanted it some years ago. At first, it stood in full sun, but there it was extremely subjected to blackspot. After it was set into half shade, its blooms opened late and the number of blooms decreased considerably, but it is as healthy as any rose.
