Hips. Clockwise starting from the top; 'Complicata', 'Highdownensis', 'Wolley-Dod's Rose', Rosa virginia, Rosa gallica 'Officinalis', 'Scharletglut' and Rosa glauca. Centre; Rosa roxburghii f. Normalis, these hips all fell off green almost over night in August and ripened on the ground. My garden, 15/9/18.
