This clone of R. arkansana was collected in an alkali flat, (in ??Southern Utah??) and given to Kim Rupert. Kim shared it with the San Jose Heritage Rose Garden, and from there several of us acquired "Kim's Gift."
This rose is completely disease-free, and the grey-green foliage is extremely attractive. It is one of the few roses that goes completely dormant in my coastal Southern California garden. This is a DELIGHTFUL little species rose!
