I wait each spring with great anticipation for this rose to bloom, because although the bloom period is just 3-4 weeks, the blooms are unforgettable in their beauty and their scent. When the entire plant is coverd with blooms, it is a mosaic of colours, from the pink of the fresh bloom to the various shades of lavender as the blooms fade. At eight years, my specimen measures 7-8 feet across and 5 feet in height. Because it is grafted, it hasn't spread, but I do need to rip off the rootstock suckers periodically.
