Photo from Hardy Trees Shrubs, Roses and Plants, catalogue of Knight and Bostwick, Newark, New York State, 1926.
Catalogue entry reads:
F. J. GROOTENDORST. A new rose of great merit, a cross between Rugosa and Baby Rambler, retaining the Rugosa qualities of vigor, hardiness and foliage, with growth shortened by influence of Dwarf parent. It makes an ideal hedge-screen. The only massing rose that is both hardy and ever-blooming. Highly recommended.
