Photo taken 8/26/07, growing this as a climber in central CA, zone 9. Canes are up to 10 feet tall or more. Heat has been in the low 100's, blooms are not as colorful as when it's cooler. Had a problem with healthy looking buds falling off bush, nursery suggested to give less water and now buds are blooming.
