LAURETTE MESSIMY.
(China.)
A most persistent blooming garden rose with elegant foliage, and bushy habit of growth, suitable for massing, bedding, or hedges. It is hardy, vigorous, and requires very little pruning except to keep the plants shapely, and will thrive in almost any situation. Introduced in 1887, it still remains one of the most popular in the section.
