Hi rose grower. I'm sorry, I goofed; I said Sprint 333 when I meant Sprint 330. Sprint 330 is a Iron Chelate Micronutrient (10% Chelated Iron) that is used to green up the foliage, it is also used for the correction of an iron deficiency in slightly acid or alkaline soils.

"Response" is a concentration of Red Australian Kelp. I think "Response" really brings out the very best in my rose(s) leaves; they are more lush and seem to have better color. I would suggest that If you use "Response" use it early in the morning-- "Response" is a micro-nutrient supplement and is not intended for use as plant food. In place of "Response" you could always use a plain liquid seaweed or kelp emulsion.

Keep them Roses growing-- Bill

Bill ~~

I also find your journal a wonderful resource, and read it almost daily.  Your post about cutting and conditioning roses for good, long lasting vase-life was particularly great!

Thank-you for sharing all your experience and knowledge with us all!  You have taught and inspired me.

Jamie

Bill,

We just want to thank you keeping a journal on HelpMefind.  It is exactly what we had in mind when we conceived the idea of garden journals.  Thanks !
