Tucked into the landscaping (grass and palms) are roses, herbs, hot peppers, tomatoes, olive, tropicals and citrus trees. I love an edible garden. We can't eat everything, but it makes us happy that we can eat most of it!
I also love the beautiful long stemmed fragrant roses that can be cut and brought inside. I even love cutting a floribunda which is a bouquet on a stem! All my roses have one thing in common! Fragrance!!
We have the dreaded homeowner's association, with their self important rules, so I have my ways of getting around them!! No complaints so far! I put in sweet peas in spring, marigolds and dahlias in summer. If I think it's gorgeous, I'll find a way to sneak it in!!
