Photo's of my garden again appear clipped in halves.
It seems to happen with Internet Explorer and it has to do something with a tool called compatibility-display for websites designed for older browsers. The pictogram looks like a page raggedly torn in halves and it turns up in blue or colourless in the search-field for urls.

The photo's at my "Member Garden" are clipped in half! Sometimes you can only see the upper part, sometimes both parts, but separated.

That sounds like an issue with your internet connection but to be sure please provide a specific example we can check. The photo id number for one of these problem photos would be ideal.

Al the different photo's for my garden are clipped at that page, but when I click on them they appear normal and complete!
See Printscreen.

1. Please click on one of the problem photos and tell us the photo id for that specific photo.

2. "All the different photo's for my garden are clipped at that page" - what do you mean by "that page" ?

Answer to question 1:This is the Photo Id: 162523 of the current photo showing up at my gardenpage.(at least part of it!) When I click on it it opens normally!

Answer to question 2: As You can see on the print-screen the photo is cut (like with a pair of scissors) in two peaces and there is missing one piece in the middle section.
By that page I mean the page displayed at the print-screen: My garden-page in the upper left You can see the http-address of that page on the print-screen too!

I most certainly didn't sent this reply twice, and I couldn't enter the Q&C forum at first again to check.

Jay-Jay,

If you are having a problem with "auto sign in" it most likely has something to do with a security setting change on your PC. Like all websites, HMF uses a cookie to sign you in automatically when you visit. If you browser or other security software is clearing all cookies then you will have to sign in manually when you visit or indicate in your browser to not clear cookies for helpmefind.com. All the modern browsers allow for settings specific to individual websites.

No, I don't have any problem at all!
The cookies of my favourite websites never are thrown away, unless I do it manually as the administrator of my PC!

If you do not have to sign in manually when you first visit HMF then your auto sign in is working properly. If you visit HMF and the upper right displays "Welcome: Anonymous" then your auto sign in is either turned off on your HMF member page or your browser has cookies turned off.

Okay good. So the only issue is the photo clipping then ?

That is what is funny and wrong!
The photo's still appear in one or two rectangular pieces! And only on my garden-page!

Do you have more than one browser on your computer ? No one else has reported this problem so we are thinking it might be specific to your computer or browser.

Hello,
No, I only have Windows Internet Explorer! And use Google. Nothing extra-ordinary!
I saw You changed a bit of the lay-out, The continue/search button has now a (good to notice) black cadre.
What might cause this in my computer? nothing has changed, I use 2 anti-virus programmes; one of G-Data (that works with two engines and is payed for) and Microsoft Security Essentials!
Where the middle or the rest of the photo should be, I can see the lines from the background of the "My Garden Page"! It is not a white field as if the photo is missing with a red cross in one of the upper corners. (as I and Rosaholic's Southern California Garden once noticed and reported)
Thank You for Your efforts!!!
PS: I tried "In Private Navigation" and as anonymous, I saw the photo at my GardenPage "Jay-Jay's" complete!...So I believe there is nothing wrong with my computer or browser.

I have had that happened occasionally, too. But I do not know the reason.
