New Dawn and Parkdirektor Riggers (not a climber in my garden). And cat on garage. Obviously, I use weeds for landscaping (stinging nettle, melissa officinalis, thistle).

This rose's working title is "Mystery2". She was sold as a climber. I'm starting to think she might be Penny Lane. I've put her pot next to New Dawn and the leaves are quite look-alike. Also, the way Mystery2 opens her blooms reminds me of New Dawn, which would be the pollen parent of Penny Lane.

Cat lying on roof being greeted by sunbeams seeping through the juneberry, and blooms of New Dawn peeping over the wall.

I bought this rose without a label, hoping it would turn out to be Ghislaine de Feligonde. Can it be? It has almost no thorns, the flowers change colour from creamy-yellow buds to white, and it grows in long branches. Nice subtle scent, too. What do you think?
