Southern California, Northern San Diego County. About 10 miles inland from the Pacific Ocean. Rarely receive frost in the wintertime. Summer days 75F-95F, with some triple digit heat waves, usually in August, September, and October. Water is always at a premium and we are almost always in some stage of drought. My soil and water are alkaline. My soil is mostly clay, so it does hold the water it receives well.It always cools down significantly at night. Very low humidity here. Main disease problem is powdery mildew.
