Love this photo! I've been trying to decide on which rose to put on a 4' fence. Needed thornless, lots of great fragrance and at least decent disease resistance. LOVE the "old rose" look...fat with lots of petals.
Any shade of pink or purple. Well, I think that this baby will be THE ONE, and your wonderful photo is the icing on the cake...

Hi, just seen your beautiful picture of Deuil de Dr. Reynaud. could you tell me if it has good disease resistance, and if it repeats, since it appears not to be awailable in the UK.

The Dr. does well for a Bourbon rose. It will get blackspot if I ignore it in my very hot humid summers of South Georgia. I likes to bloom when it is cool. I get a good flush in the spring and then another around October here. You may get it earlier there in the UK.
