You will note that I have listed this garden as a private garden even though it is at a store. Tours are given by me (Andy Van Cleve the owner of Azalea House) on weekends in June and July. Because it is a buissness employees are not there to show the garden off. Because of insurence liability you cannot be allowed to wander the garden without a guide. You can still see quite a bit from the parking lot or call me at Azalea House (518) 765-2917 and make an appointment for a tour.
Yonder Garden consists of the rose hedge, The antique and disease resistant rose garden, the English Rose garden, the rose and daylilly garden, the edible garden, the water garden and the lilac walk. The design layout is by me and primarily to display plants that are easy locally (Yonder Farms often purchase its own roses for sale based on how they do in the garden). Plants that have died out in the garden have been replaced by other varieties that do better.
