Looking east to the section of the Old City Cemetery where the roses are planted. To the left is Broadway with the entrance in the upper left. The roadway leading from the entrance across the photo to a bit above the middle of the right border is the eastern boundary of the rose garden. The sourthern and western boundaries are defined by the road winding toward you and across the foreground to Broadway. Unfortunately, from this height, and during the time of year the photo was taken, bloom isn't discernible. The white yardstick in the lower right is 25 yards long.
