Page 20: 1853 or earlier (R. x francofurtana) Large, clear, rose-pink and veined with deep pink, loosely double. A most beautiful rose, one of the finest in this class. Probably a hybrid of R. cinnamomea. Not much scent for a Gallica, but the flowers are followed by hips.
