Descriptions, as supplied of the following new roses should be of interest to enthusiasts: ‘Cherub’. By the aforementioned raiser [Alister Clark], this climbing or pillar rose is stated to be of distinct and beautiful coloring, suggesting crimson overlaid with scarlet. The foliage is magnificent, and disease proof, and as the flower is sweetly scented and large for its class, it is claimed this variety will take a place as one of the best rambling roses under cultivation.

Its colour is such a fiery red, making it noticeable at a distance. As a decorative variety popularity is predicted.

It stood out among less colorful varieties.
