"Roses at Rookwood" was authored by Bruce Welch and Esmond Jones on behalf of Heritage Roses in Australia, and was Appendix 10 to the 1993 publication, Rookwood Necropolis Plan of Management, 1993, Vol.III, published by the Department of Conservation and Land Management in New South Wales.

There are two documents included in the Appendix: a letter from Bruce Welch to Geoffrey Britton with suggestions for conserving historic roses at Rookwood, and a short article written by Esmond Jones with the title "Rookwood Cemetery: Some Observations on the state of the Old Fashioned Roses in the area taken over the last 9 or 10 years."
