This is an excellent article. I can remember when I first started growing roses and was lucky enough to have people in my life to keep me from panicing, but it was the rose folks that encouraged my reading that really gave me a leg up. Even tho' I didn't understand everything I read the first time, every year my enjoyment of growing roses has increased as my reading has continued to inform my choices of varieties to grow and how to grow them.
