This article was just delightful. It should certainly play well for every rose enthusiast. I can well relate to the passion and obsession that overtakes a rose-a-holic once the rose bug bites. The author shared with us all the satisfaction derived from so noble a pursuit of the perfect rose.

I've had the good fortune to visit Kim's garden, and to get caught up in his enthusiasm for roses. He's an amazingly insightful and generous and patient rosarian. Many of the varieties we collectors covet came way of Kim's importation and unique hybridizing efforts.

He's very humble but has made and continues to make a huge impact among rosarians here in CA, particularly in regard to his study of OGR's and the promotion of low maintenance modern garden varieties.
