novelist, playwrite and columnist of the American Rose
Society"s American Rose. He writes for the Royal
National Rose Society's -The Rose and lives in Dublin,
Ireland where he grows over 1,000 roses. Sean is honorary
Vice President Of the United Kingdom's Royal National Rose
Society and holds numberous achievement awards for his
life's work to honor the rose. He hasdedicated his life to
the love of roses and has been
called the" World's Ambassador for Roses."
Jeff Wyckoff of Oregon was editor of the book and
brings a wealth of knowledge and experience with
roses. He is an American Rose Society Consulting
Rosarian and Horticulture Judge. He frequently speaks
and writes for rose organizatons and publications. He
contributes much time and effort for various ARS
projects.
J. Benjamin Williams was a major contributor in
telling the sory of the Mini-Flora rose. He is a
hybridzer, horticultural consultant, nurseryman, and
public relations leader of roses, and has been for
years. teh new Mini-Flora rose is the result of his
persistence and determination that the rose should be
given it 's proper place in the gardens of the world.
he trademarked the name in 1977 and as more rose
breeders added to his Patio roses(minifloras)
eventually there were enough to cause the ARS and the
World Federation of Rose Societies to offically creat
the Mini-Flora classification in October 1998.
Dr. Tommy Cairns, past president of the American Rose
Society, the World Federation of Rose Societies and
recipient of the Royal National Rose Society's "Dean
Hole Medal' was instrumental in encouraging
recognition of this new class of rose. He is an
exceptional leader in the rose world and has unlimited
energy when championing roses.
Michael Kromer, past Executive Secretary of the
American Rose Society work tirelessly to find the best
