[From article by Ewald Scholle]...At that time [in autumn in Sangerhausen], many roses had already lost many leaves because off blackspot. We stood in front of a bed, in which two rows of roses were still full with foliage...They were my obtentions 'Attraktion' x 'Herzog von Windsor' and 'Duftwolke' x 'Junior Miss'.

[From article by Ewald Scholle]..Many years ago, I had given Mr. B. Mehring from the ARBA in England a rose of my breeding 'Scholles Bernstein Nr.II'. He and some other rose lovers must have been very delighted by this rose. Bernhard Mehring had taken my 'Scholles Bernstein' to a Cut Rose Exhibition where it received the 1. Prize and the Cup. Upon this, he asked me permission to graft a couple of examples for the Trial Garden in St. Albans. After three years of testing, this rose has now achieved the Trial Ground Certificate, which will be awarded in March 1993.

'Duftwolke' x 'Attraktion', a rose with very strong delicious fragrance. The combination of fragrances of related roses from Tantau led here possibly to a stronger version. Breeder Ewald Scholle.
